TMC Celebrates Employees Commitment to Service
Laredo, TX – Mary Capello-TMC CEO, Romeo Sifuentes–Regional Administrator Wintergarden Region, and staff from throughout the Wintergarden Region - Laredo came together to honor two individuals who have played a huge role in the success of TMC with a retirement celebration. The two retirees include Mary L. Webber from the Migrant Seasonal Head Start (MSHS) program and Edward Maldonado, Pearsall Center Manager.
Mary L. Webber began her career with TMC in 1997 as a Health Service Manager in the Migrant Seasonal Head Start program. In 2001, Ms. Webber became the Early Intervention Prevention Coordinator. Her role as Coordinator allowed for her to assist in planning and implementing goals, objectives, and all activities that were part of the MSHS work plan as promulgated in the Head Start Performance Standards, under Child Development and Health Services. Also, she was responsible for ensuring compliance with all local rules, regulations, corporate policies and procedures in the program area of Health and safety.
Edward Maldonado began his career with TMC in 1983 as the Center Manager for Pearsall. During his tenure, Mr. Maldonado spent many summers in Wisconsin, Indiana, Washington and West Texas. During his tenure at TMC Mr. Maldonado acquired an Associate of Arts from Southwest Texas Jr. College and a Bachelor of Science from Wayland Baptist University. Also, Mr. Maldonado served as the Center Manager in Dilley, Cotulla and Carrizo Springs during his career.
“It was an honor to have these individuals work with the Wintergarden Region; they will truly be missed”, stated Regional Administrator Romeo Sifuentes.
TMC CEO Mary Capello ended the luncheon thanking Ms. Webber and Mr. Maldonado for having been a part of our lives and the children and families they served throughout the years.
