Golden Crescent Receives Texas Workforce Commission Award      

Grapevine, TX – Texas Workforce Commission awarded Workforce Solutions Golden Crescent with first place for small boards for exemplary performance serving those who qualify for assistance under the TANF/Choices Program. The statewide recognition was awarded at the 13th Annual Texas Workforce Conference held in Grapevine, TX. The award, a beautiful trophy and a $100,000 incentive bonus was accepted by Golden Crescent Director Carole Kolle. Key Workforce staff, board staff, Board Members, center staff and TMC Corporate staff stood proudly and accepted the award.

“This award exemplifies a successful year of serving disadvantaged adults and youth,” stated Carole Kolle – Program Director. “This award represents all the staff; those that may have answered the telephone, recommended a workshop to an individual who didn’t know how to sell their skills, diligently tracked participation hours, or set up child care arrangements, or arranged for someone to go before the training account committee (ITA), introduced a youth to the world of work, helped someone find a job, recruited employers to provide jobs, or provided support services to the staff who provided the service, it takes everyone working as a team”.
