Washington, DC – President/CEO Mary Capello and Vice-President Rodney Rodriguez along with Board Chair Dan Liskai and Board Members Blanca Muñoz, Rev. Chester Phyffer and Rev. Tino Espinoza attended the 2011 NCLR Annual Conference from July 23 – July 26, 2011held at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel.
While at the Conference these leaders attended timely and on-point workshops important to the Hispanic community; cutting-edge town hall meetings; and key meal events whose programs included speakers such as Arianna Huffington, Eva Longoria, Congressman Emanuel Cleaver, and President Barack Obama.
The NCLR Annual Conference also featured the Lideres Summit. The Lideres Summit is one of the largest events in the nation for Latino youth.
