New Carlisle, OH – The New Carlisle Center held there annual “America On the Move” Celebration. During this celebration Center staff stress the importance of nutrition on the lives of the children and their families. The Center celebrates Nutrition's Physical Fitness Month with the America on The Move theme.
A total of 220 individuals participated in this event, which included parents and members of the community. A special thanks to Salud Community Clinic for their donation of books and school supplies to the children. Also, El Grupo ALFA was present to assist with tax filing preparation and opening Bank Accounts.
Also, parents were asked to nominate individuals that will be named King and Queen of the Heritage of Flight Festival which will be held on October 3rd. A full day of activities were held, such as potato sack races, where the parents and children had the opportunity to participate throughout the day. The theme of the festival was “Sembrando una Buena Semilla”.
