Center Celebrates End of Season with Celebration

New Carlisle, OH – The New Carlisle Center held an end of the season celebration for the children, the staff and the parents whose children are served by the Center on Friday, November 6, 2009. The theme of the celebration was “The Holiday Season”. Close to 500 people were in attendance including staff, parents, community volunteers and children between the ages of 0-14.

“This is an annual event that the parent's plan for every year. This year the parent's recognized our staff by giving them a present and thanking them for a great season and for providing quality care for their children”, stated Lupita Tafolla - Family Service Advocate.

The children performed to several Christmas songs, “Jingle Bells” and “I Want to Wish You a Merry Christmas”. Also, the children performed to the songs “La Gallinita Roja (The Red Hen)” and Smash Mouth’s “All Star”, which brought the parents and staff to their feet.

“We had a great dinner and music was provided by Elias Martinez, a parent at the Center. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year”, stated Karen Ray - Center Manager.
